Can a Mac Mini be used with a plasma screen TV Using the screen as a display or just for dvds?

Loaded Norton Internet Security 2005. Was running fine but could not run Liveupdate. I tried sorting this out by going to Symatec web site but in the end NIS 2005 flagged me to uninstall and then rein

As long as the Plasma has DVI or HDMI input and doesn't
need digital resolutions greater than 1920 by 1200 pixels
you are good to go.

The tech specs also say the new mini supports coherent
digital displays up to 154MHz; supports noncoherent digital
displays up to 135MHz
