Which one would be more powerful for running digital video editing software?

Apple wants $3000 for it's Dual 2.7ghz G5. But for the same price you could buy 5 Mac Mini's and cluster them together via their IP over Firewire feature. So what do you get? Let's take a look.

G5 Tower / Mac Mini Cluster
5.4Ghz G5 / 7.1Ghz G4
512mb Ram / 1.28gb Ram
250gb HD / 400gb HD
256mb Video / 32mb Video

So which one would be faster? Which one would be the better computer? I'll let you decide....

Don't you have to have OS X Server to cluster?

I don't really know all of what I'm talking about on server software, but, hey, thought I'd point that out (maybe to be corrected).
