Hi, im trying to get an "HP dvd 630i dvd writer" connected through a "ADS IDE to USB 2.0 enclosure" to work with my Mac mini (1.25mhz 256mb) running Jag. 10.3.8 Ive looked everywqhere to see how to get this drive recognized by the Mac, but nothing seems to work. Ive downloaded other apps for mac such as DiscBurner, and also tried installing patchBurn and it doesnt recognize the drive either...any suggestions?
You can only use mac superdrives to burn dvds. You should have upgraded when you brought your mac.
However i belive if you can use your external dvd writer if you purches a copy of iDVD 4 and use a crack called HPFurz. Search on google for full details.
