I have heard the Mac Os can only work with Apple Pc.It dose not work with intel based Computers. Is it true.

Correct. You can, though, run the open-source Unix core of OS X, Darwin, on an x86 machine.

I'd choose a new Mac over a wintel machine, especially with the configuration you have now.
