Hello,

We are software company that develope help desk and inventory product.

We need to migrate our inventory client to Mac. The version should be able to run in all the popular Mac environments
I need to understand which version of Mac we need to have in our lab in order to develope this. Do I need just to buy one power pc version and one intel vesrion or I also need to buy some old environments in order to compile for older computers. i.e. if I buy modern G5 processor is the code I compile will also work on G4 etc.. ?

any developer starting today should just stick to intel. the
cost of learning an old code, which is being phased out as
from NOW, just isn't worth it.

I know the compilers can easily chuck out code for PowerPC
chips, but the debugging process is just not worth it.
