CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GET BACK ON MY HARDDRIVE, I AM GETTING THE BOARD WITH THE FLOPPY DISK WITH A QUESTION MARK, THANKS FOR
REPLYING I AM A NEW MAC USER THE SYSTEM IS 8.6 AND I HAVE NO STARTUP DISK.

You could TRY booting with the command-option-shift keys down, but I'll bet you will HAVE TO get yourself a startup disk.

When you buy a Mac, it comes with 1 or 2
CD's entitled "Restore System" or
"Restore Software". If you do not have one
ask your Mac dealer or call Apple Support
at 1-800-500-7078. Insert CD & hold
down the "c" key & install new system.
