I am trying to transfer a file from my firewire drive to my SCSI drive and I keep getting this 1309 error.(error -1309 fileBoundsErr: file's EOF offset mark or size is too big)

it's just a thought, but are the file systems identical on both drives..that is, if the firewire is hfs+ , is the scsi also..i don't know the max file size for hfs (mac OS Standard) but i know that 2 gig is getting near the 4 gig maximum for 32 bit file systems...
