I took out a trial .mac membership last week, since
than i've had about five or six emails from
pornographic sites or people trying to sell me viagra.

How did they get me email so quickly, I'm don't think
Apple gave them it , or did, they does anyone know
for sure if Apple gives out your email to anyone who
asks for it.

I've tried emailing Apple but got no response.
thanks all for an intresting mac forum

Depends on what your .mac address is. Apple has pretty aggressive anti-spam filters in place but if you have an address that's easily vulnerable to dictionary attacks, all the antispam filters in the world won't matter.
