does the Linksys BEFW11S4 v.2 work with Apple's AirPort card? i have this router and i would like to use it with an ibook wirelessly. thanks.

It is IEEE 802.11b compliant, which is the same as the Airport card, and it does work fine.
[There was a firmware update for this router (and many other Linksys routers), released a few months ago (see Linksys' Web Site or versiontracker.com) -- Just in case yours needs the update.]
