There are two choices:
To connect your Mac to the PC Hub network, use either:
MacLan or Dave software.
I use Dave on our G4 to ltalk to our PC network. simple method that worked the 1st time vs MacLan which took alot of work!
It may be because Dave is run from the glorious Mac and MacLan is run on the PC side!
Try Dave!

I agree with David, although this may be fragrant self promotion on his part.
Install DAVE on the Mac. It works through NETBIOS and sees all other PC's on the network. Works so well that our Company President went out and bought the full version as soon as we installed the demo.

Maclan works fine. Theres a free demo version, but the full product is only about 160 quid and well worth
