Comment:

I'm using the latest version of Limewire Pro with
10.2.6. I 'feel' sure that this app. is causing major
disruptions to the system-frequently requiring
restarts/kernal panics et al.
18mths ago I ran an earlier version of L/Wire under
9.2 without a tenth of the hassle I'm having now!

Why not try not running LimeWire for a day or two and see if the problem continues?

Yes I've tried this but it never gets past max 12 hrs.
without causing a problem. Connection through B/
Band is always on as is G4.
I used to leave a G3 overnight for tardy & 'awaiting'
D/Loads exactly as I do now, yet this was under OS 9
& rarely was their a problem. Searches are also much
less fruitful now under X!
I'm sure that the culprit is Limewire but I would like
to think that I'm not the only one affected.
L/Wire site pretty hopeless for advice.

Why not use a different piracy client?
