I have an ibook g4, about two years old. I've noticed that recently the light on the display is becoming unsteady. I will be working and suddenly notice the screen shifts up or down in brightness. Lately I have also noticed a flicker effect now and then.
I have not had brightness changes that actually prevent me from using the computer, but I am concerned.
Does this mean the LCD is dying? And if so how much does it cost to get it replaced? Any feedback would be appreciated.
