How do I connect an Imac G3 to an older LaserWriter Select 360 which only has a parallel, serial, and local talk connections. The Imac does not have any of these. Or, is it possible to network the printer by adding a cat 5 ethernet port somehow? I am a novice and need some guidance. Thanks.

Well - you need one of these!

The Asanté LocalTalk is the adaptor between the old serial LaserWriters and the new iMac USB - though (in this case) you skip using the USB port altogether - plug an ethernet cable into the iMac's ethernet port, connect it to the Asanté LocalTalk box, and then whack an 8 pin serial cable into the other end of the Asanté box - and plug it straight into your LWS 360 - and away you go!
