I need to fix mine. Its started flashing both the out of paper and paper jam lights. Is there some special place I should look to clear this? For all who would say read-the-manual, this was an orphan at the HS where I teach so the manual is missing.

The Personal Laserwriter LS doesn't have any on-board RAM or processor, and uses the Macintosh it is connected to for all page rendering. Essentially, the computer completely controls the printer and performs many of the functions that higher-end printers perform on their own. There is *NO* Windows driver for the printer's onboard Quickdraw engine, and because this printer doesn't support any form of networking, even Localtalk, there's no straightforward way of connecting this printer to a PC. If you only have access to a PC and MUST use this printer with it, the only suggestion I have is that you find a DIN-8 to DB-9 serial adapter and try using Basilisk or some other free Macintosh emulator with the Laserwriter 300 driver. Good luck!
Summary: I have been unsucessfully searching for a driver for a Mac Personal Laser Writer NT. Any ideas? There doesn't seem to be one on the Apple site. Thanks all....
Summary: Howdy. Hey, Anybody out there have the disc for installing Apple Personal Laser Writer NT onto a Power Mac? Good printer; hate to have to toss it. Thanks. Mike Roth 203.481.0110...
