Hello,
This may seem like a dumb question, but when I am in a program ex. firefox. how to I get to see the file, edit, view, go, etc. menues without using my mouse. In windows I could alt-f alt-e, etc. But on the mac, I can't figure it out. I hope there is a keyboard navigation for this.

Thanks!
~Rich

This might sound Stupid but I need to know Why would you want to do a bunch of key strokes when you can just move your mouse?

Go to System Preferences, Keyboard and Mouse, Keyboard
Shortcuts.

Turn on Full Keyboard Access.

See the list for all the shortcuts. For the menu, press
control + F2.

Honestly, I suggest you memorize the shortcuts you use
often. For example,

Command +Q is almost always quit, command+W is
almost always close window, etc.
