hmmm...installing DMG files?
So you didn't boot to the Install DVDs to upgrade/ do a clean install? You upgraded by running a series of DMG installers to do this upgrade?
I'm unclear what you are doing or what the hell all that gobbledgook means...kinda, there's an issue with a driver that cannot be resolved and the world must END.First things first, I'd back up my files in Target Disk Mode to another Mac or a friend's mac, wipe the HDD (then Zero-write it) and do a super clean fresh install.

Here is a better description of what I did exactly.....first please forgive me as this is my first mac.
With that being said the PowerBook g4 had 10.3.9 panther os x and I wanted to upgrade to tiger so I downloaded the dmg files and then burned each one to a disk and popped it into my mac and opened disk utility and clicked the button where I could drag each dmg file into one box and the in the box above that you select where you want the file to be placed in which I chose the hardrive and was successful at loading 2 of the 4 dmg files and as I was doing the third it froze and when I rebooted it then the screen above popped up with Kernel Panic and I can not do anything from there.

Please help and excuse me as I am new so assume you are giving steps to a child haha!
I am computer savvy but not on a Mac yet.
