Is it possible for a mac to be infected with the I- Worm.NetSky.c virus? I thought not but I have had two emails today saying I have sent emails infected with this virus.

No, you are not infected. There are, (so far) NO viruses WHATSOEVER affecting Mac OS X.
Many Windows viruses, however, send eMails with forged addresses. Someone you know, and have sent eMail to in the past, is infected, and their computer is sending the infected eMails using your address. See the Homepage link for a related question.
Summary: I'm mostly running on os 9.2.5, and I got a message bounced back from a server (wot i never sent a message to ) advising my attachment was infected with the W32/Netsky-P virus... ?!? My norton ant...
Summary: hi, i have been getting infected emails (about 6 a day) through my provider (plus.net) should i assume this would have something to do with a file ive downloaded? basically how do i get rid of this...
