Does it prepare the disk properly in X?

I have a prob with a border around my full
screen visuals right now. I've thrown out
my Prefs. but no good. Glad I saved my
iTunes installer.

Problem solved,it's an osx issue,it's
because I reinstalled 10.1.2 over my
10.1.4,my only option is to do a fresh and
new install of os 10.1.2,but I it's no big
deal,I can live with burning cd's in toast or
os 9.2,
