itunes playlists disappeared

does anyone how i "lost" my itunes
library? itunes opens without any
playlists and an empty library! (using itunes 2.04 with mac os 9.2.2. ) thanx in
advance

Your library and playlist information is stored in a particular file. If you navigate to your iTunes folder and look for this file (not sure of the name, maybe "library" or similar). If that file is missing, you might have to reinstall iTunes or simply re-setup your library.
