Subject: Itunes and OS X problem
Comment:

I upgraded my ibook running OS 9.2 to OS 10.1. I have Itunes 1.1.2 installed. The itunes application does not work in OS 10. The sound when I try to play a track is all garbled up. However, it works fine when I restart the system in OS 9. Why is that. Also AOL 5.0 does not work properly with OS 10. I get kicked out every 2-3 minutes. Never had the problem with 9. Why is this happening?

You need a new version of AOL for OS X.

You also need to upgrade to the latest
version of iTunes for OS X. Use your
Software Update control panel in OS X to
update.

Agreed. Run Software Update for iTunes.
Had the same problem, worked for me.
