i have an iso image to burn using toast
how do i go about it? i need to extract it
before burning (demolinux)

You should just be able to select Burn Image... and have it work. Have you tried using the Help or (gasp!) the manual?

Yes.

Because about half the questions I see people ask would be answered if they'd just RTFM.

Manuals aren't printed to amuse the publishers. There's a REASON they're included...
