I just bought an iPod...30gig Im not sure if this is normal, but i have about 5000 songs in iTunes and when it goes to update the iPod and put songs on it, it stops at about every Gig and restarts the uploading process from the begining. It has restarted the upload process for about the 5th time now...is this right? or should it be going all the way through without stopping?
oh yeah..and im not running other programs while doing this.

Hi furball
I have an iPod nano (2GB) and it definitely doesn't behave like that - always transfers all songs over in one clean process. Of course with only 2GB to play with I'm operating at a different scale to you, but I'm sure what you're experiencing isn't normal, even for the 30GB player.
Good luck.

Not normal. I have a 30 GB and sync up 20 Gb in one shot. Doesn't restart. Try updating the firmware on the iPod. If that doesn't work, send it back to Apple and get a replacement.
