But something is strange I rebooted it reformated it and still nothing. But when I go into OS 9 the ipod is mounted and working great. How can I fix this problem. Thanks Danio7

Reply: (edit)Did you reformat from os x? if so then it must be your itunes. Try to trash the itunes plist file. Open you HD>USERS>yourname(house icon)>LIBRARY>PREFERENCES>com.apple.itunes.plist Trash this file, then log out and back in, or restart. Try it then. Let me know what happened.

Reply: (edit)Hey Too bad that didn't work. See if you can use it in a new user. If you can then let me know, and i'll tell you where to go from there.
