Comment: My ipod refuses to stop inserting gaps between tracks, no matter what I try. Anyone know how to convince it that this is a very uncool thing to do?

Reply: (edit)Thanks for the suggestions. I'm using v2.0.4 at work, don't know which one at home. I haven't tried tossing the preferences file, but the problem seems to reside in the pod itself as when I play from iPod via firewire using iTunes, there are no gaps. The gaps only re-surface when I play direct from the disconnected iPod. A.
