I created Chyron files in OS9 but when I switch to OSX they are not visible. Also, often when I retrieve files from a PC system the Mac files are in two parts. Can someone explain this situation to me? Chyron files are used in broadcast productions for titling and on screen text. Thanks in advance, Kirk

By any chance do these Chyron files begin with a dot (period) in the file name? If so, OSX will hide them like it hides all the unit "dot files".
Are you viewing them in icon view- maybe they are off the screen?
Have you tried opening the Terminal application and cd'ing to the directory with the files and doing an "ls -al" (list all files including dot files, long form with file sizes, etc visible)? This is another way to see if they are really there in OS X.
