Comment: I have an older graphite imac with a airport card. I am running OS 10.2.3 and have my mac networked wirelessly with my Dell (OS Win98SE). How do I share internet connection between the mac and the Dell? I have my DSL hooked to my mac and want to share it to the PC. What do I have to do on the mac and what do I have to do on the PC?

Reply: (edit)There are a few proxy servers and internet sharing programs for the mac, one I remember is Vicom (i think) there are others.... If you check out www.versiontracker.com you should be able to find vendors who sell this software. From what I can remember from these packages is that once you have it setup on your mac, setting up the pc is quite simple, there is no special programs you need or anything, it will show you how to set it all up. ---OR--- If you want a simpler method, you could just by a router/hub and share it that way. (you would need to ask your ISP if they support more than one machine on one account, they may charge extra. Note this statement only applies to the hub/router solution not to the one above)
