Hi, I've been using Internet Explorer for the last couple of
years without a problem. A few weeks ago it suddenly
stopped opening, giving me error message "The attempt
to load Accessing URL:http....failed." I have no problems
accessing the internet using Safari, which I continue to
use. I have checked the settings with ISP tech support,
and we can't figure it out. Any ideas as to what might
have happened to my Explorer? It's a real problem
sometimes to not have it available.

This happened to me too. I looked at the microsoft site
and found that they have stoped the use of Internet
Explorer for Mac users and so it is unavailable to be used.
They suggest using Safari, Firefox etc

Download and re-install internet explorer 5.x see if that fixes the problem first. Also if you are getting a "Http or URL not found" message than check your TCP/IP settings.
