Comment: Going crazy here. My neighbor told me she was having problems getting on the internet a week before I started having them. Getting on the internet is easy, but when I try to click on a page, 9 out of 10 times a blank page will appear and say “done” in the left corner, or error windows come up stating “server not found”. Also sometimes when I can get a page all the photos won’t be on it. Getting my email, but it’s pointless if there is a link. We both use cable, she has a PC with a router and we have Macs and airport. We have 3 computer in house and my husband says he's not having any problems, but get this! he's on my neighbor cable connect using some 8.11 code thing on our airport. ( I'm not very "tech-ucated"). Please someone out there help me. One more thing.....this is really odd, but I was reading other internet problems in the forums and one subject title reminds me of an email I opened about the time I started having problems, BUT I didn't download the picture because McAfee says there was a virus. The photo was called “nothing”, but I can’t remember the name of the virus that McAfee stated. Hope some of you smart people can help one challenged being. Paulette

Reply: (edit)It is possible that you have received a virus from your neighbours computer, since your husband is connecting to their wireless network. You should run some sort of scan using your McAfee software.
