My school has issued iBooks to all students. I cannot connect to the internet at home due to the school proxy. The internet settings are set to manual not DHCP. I know how to change the admin password so I can add a location but I am not sure if I should. I know that they log students by their IP but I’m not sure if they log the username as well. Is it possible to log the username in this scenario? If I change the password and add a location for school with a similar IP and disable remote desktop, will they be able to tell that it is me?
