I had a working Mats---a-a(panasonic) cd-rom drive
working in my computer when I purchased it
(new). It has only been a year and since I
upgraded to OSX.2 it hasn't been responding at
all. It has power and I checked all of the
connections inside.
I thought I might need a driver or extension that
was lost when I reinstalled my system software.
Panasonic doesn't have one...but there must be
one...it did work.
The model is the Mats---a cr-594.
If anyone can help please contact me. It would be
greatly appreciated.

Does it work if you reboot into OS 9?
