Subject: installing OS9 after OSX is already runn |
Comment: I am running OS X. I have tried avoiding loading OS 9. Now, I have to break down and install OS 9 when I am only on X. HOW? I can't seem to figure out how to install OS 9 when OS X is already running. I am afraid to press C when booting (the normal installation process) because I do not want it to erase my hard drive. How do I attack this problem? (without creating more problems)

Reply: (edit)Start the computer up with the OS 9 Installer CD in the drive and hold 'c' on the keyboard. Run the OS Installer on the CD. Do not select "erase drive" and you will have no problems. James
