I have looked everywhere on Computing.Net and i could not get an answer or find what i'm doing wrong installing my OS X 10 on my Powermac G4...

I bough this Mac w/o Hard drive and w/o CD or ZIP, so i put a 10 GB Hard drive and a Generic CD-ROM, now, i have the system on ".dmg" and i pass it onto "ISO", i burn it, and when i press "C" on the start up the machine still not boot.

I get a grey screen. what Im I doing wrong?

put the 10GB HD (very small by the way) into an external
Case, go to a more modern mac with DVD drive.

Plug in external HD, boot from DVD, install into external
HD with a custom setup. you don't have much room!

setup your external HD by booting up from it. install
updates if you have fast net connection.

install HD inside G4 (or keep in external case, even better)
