1. Yes, there are a lot of "problems" in installing Mac OS on a PC.

A. Classic Mac OS and Mac OS X 10.0 - 10.3 are only possible in an emulator. Mac OS X is especially slow in an emulator.

B. Mac OS X 10.4 and later will not install or even boot on a standard PC by default. You have to patch a DVD image or download one off the internet.

C. There are few drivers available. Unless your hardware is similar to that of a standard Mac or a peripheral one could install in a Mac Pro, it is unlikely to work.

D. It's illegal.

2. To have even a remote possibility of installing Mac OS X on your PC, you will need a Pentium 4 or an AMD that supports SSE2. SSE3 is better.

Got this to work before with PearPC wasnt the best configuration in the world. Also you can get it to work with VMware which i have also done but it ran worse in a virtual enviroment than it did eumulated.

Installing OS X on a PC isn't a good idea and you should NOT do it. For example, let's say you were using Time Machine an your back backup stopped working or an application stops behaving as it should annoying you all day, or if there was an update that could fix a security flaw, you'd be left out in the cold becuase you wouldn't have a valid installation of OS X on a supported computer. It's a world of hurt and you should not do it until Apple decides to go that route. The only people running OS X on PCs are people with MULTIPLE PCs and that 'Hackintosh' is just a experimental thing. For one you have to have a copy of OS X and most of the people running OS X on a PC have a stolen modified copy of OS X. I'd avoid this if I were you. Do what yu think is right.
