installing a cd writer on a mac

I have a MAC G4 running OS 9. I also have a HP CD-WRITER 7200 plus (external). I want to run in on the mac. I cant find drivers on the hp site or anything on the apple site. Anyone know of a way to make this work. I am even wondering if there is a way to keep the writer installed on my PC and sharing that drive to the MAC. Thanks
