Reply: (edit)Have you tried opening the image file to ensure it's not corrupt? It is probably worth trying because I believe it would need to be in its expanded form anyway to be useful for booting purposes ... I haven't tried booting from an image file so don't know for sure, but suspect this would be the case. Anything I've failed to burn was corrupt.
