I recently downloaded a program that was a sing IMG file. how do i decompress/unzip this fill or what do i use to burn it to cd if it is a cd image??

Diskcopy. Available on your Apple system CD

some .img were made with a more
powerful program called shrinkwrap
made by aladdin systems so if it doesn't
open up with diskcopy go and download
shrinkwrap

.img files are also created by Toast.
If you can't open the file with
disk copy or StuffIt Expander (which has
an integrated functions of shrink wrap in
its version 5.5), just drag the icon of
your.img file onto toast's icon and
it will mount the cd image!
