You can't, but you can take the CD and use that if it's a retail version...

sorry maybe I did to explain my self I have install mac os in a ibook now I want to make an image of the installation to install it to another ibook can this be done like it can be done the ghost for pcs?

Ah. Carbon Copy Cloner works well for OS X; OS 9 users can just drop the hard drive on the Disk Copy icon.
