Comment: Hi Guys I am using imac 600 OS9.2 with
Entourage.
I send photos/images with proper
names/extensions .jpeg, to my pc user
friends, but at their end, they always
receive double image files. As a result the
1mb image file gets doubled in size and
the end user can only open 1 file only,
and cannot open the 2nd "Ghost" file.
Has it got anything to do with encoding
attachments. So far it is set to
"Appledouble". Please Help!! Thanx Andy

Reply: (edit)Set it to use UUencoding or .hqx. You want something that will send text so it doesn't get mangled, and I'm pretty sure AppleDouble doesn't qualify. p
