Comment:

i have a IMAC that was purchased in
2000. I seemed to have solved all
problems but this one. After being up and
running and send "pages" this is a small
newspaper.... it locks up. I am using
outlook 5. It does this after working for like
3-4 hrs. If i leave off for 45 mins. and
restart it, it does the same routine. If i
restart immediately, it will lock up. Am I
missing something obvious here?
Please help.

Thank you.

You may want to purchase Norton Utilities for Mac. It helped me, It locked up all the time, and it fixed all my "Minor" problems, it's never frozen again. I reccomend ordering Norton Utilities for Macintosh off of Mactopia.com or Macworld.com.
I hope I am of some help.

Norton Utilities is quite possibly the worst utility package available right now. Give them a year and they might have it fixed (again), but they seem to reliably break things about every two years.

I'd go with TechTool Pro and DiskWarrior if you want disk utilities.
