Comment:

I am looking for a schematic for the analog board in a 233 mhz Rev A iMac. This particular iMac has a version 2 analog board with part number 661-2166 ver 2. The iMac in question has the 'green light of death' and I want to fix the faulty board as opposed to buying a new one (not worth the cost of a new board). Frankly, tossing out a board because of a single faulty component seems to be a waste, but anyway.. Any pointers or information on this subject would be much appreciated.

What would really help is a specific component number on the board that is known to cause this problem. Surely with thousands of repairs, somebody out there knows!
