I was curious to know if it is possible for me to take out my 4gig hard drive from my revision A iMac and put something bigger in there. if so where would i find the info oh how to do it and such.

Sure it is! Go to the apple spec database: http://www.info.apple.com/applespec/applespec.taf and check the specs on the H/D. Then look for a higher capacity one that meets them. Most online or mail order retailers should be able to help via phone.
