imac was plugged in and on when electrical storm came up. Power blinked in house and Imac dead. Won't power on at all no sounds or evidence of life. Replaced lithium battery on board/no help. Have ordered a new power supply. Any other suggestions?

I have the same iMac as you :)

Anyway, you definately have the right idea replacing the power supply. If that doesn't work, the logic board is probably fried. Either replace it (expensive) or get a new computer :(
