Comment:

My wife has started on online education
program which we have since discovered ONLY
runs on Internet Explorer 6. As this is
currently only available on PC, I need to
find out if there's any way I can adapt my
Powerbook G4 laptop (running Panther) to
accomodate IE6. (FYI - The issue is with
Authorware used on their website not running
on any Mac browsers correctly).

Would a PC emulator be a solution, and can
anyone offer advice on what to go for and
how to setup, please?

The course cost a lot, so any help would be
really, really appreciatede. Thanks, Andy.

Microsoft VirtualPC 6.1 is the emulator for the Mac which
can emulate basically any x86 operating system, that
includes Windows, (from v1.0 to XP), DOS, Linux and
others. In your case I sugggest emulating Windows 2000
and then install IE6 on there. For more information visit
www.microsoft.com/mac

I don't advise this, I'd much prefer it if someone took the
time to recreate the education website with standard code
so that it will work on any computer.
