Comment: Every time I open Internet Explorer a little 3 pixel wide window opens in the top left corner of the screen. I'm not sure what its doing up there but I think it may be the reason for some other problems I'm having (eg. Limewire will not open and webpages load slow.) I ran a free version of MacScan (Engine v2.0 / Spyware Definition v2005004) with no detected spyware. I don't own any full versions, but I can already tell that this problem must be related to this little micro-window that regenerates every few minutes after I close it. What is the easiest way to fix this problem?

Reply: (edit)I've been screwing around with it for a couple hours with no luck. For some reason I haven't been bothered by the mini window, but I still can't open Limewire. I can't say what's the cause of this is. I attempted to download java updates suggested on other msg boards, but then realized that they are old updates that I must already have. Reinstalling Limewire doesn't do much, and after running clamXav (free virus scan) I see no results. PLEASE HELP ME... I am going absolutley insane agonizing over this. Something is really wrong and I think it's giving me an ulcer...
