Glad I found your site. I'm an "old" novice (74) so be please be patient with me.I have a PowerMac G3, sys 9.0.4. When I download some programs, I'm told to download carbon.lib. After downloading it and trying to use it, the computer freezes. Suggestions as to why etc.? Also, I've downloaded various Icons. Some appear fine, others show icons "via the get info" as documents or Stuffit Deluxe Archive icons. Am I doing something wrong?

CarbonLib can be downloaded from VersionTracker.com; 1.5 is the latest version.
Once you download it, you'll have to decompress the file. Once this is done, you'll either have to run the Installer or you'll have to drop the CarbonLib file on your System Folder icon, which will automatically put it where it needs to go.
