i've succeeded using ichat with msn messenger through jabber. however, i've not been successful with audio & video chat with either msn or yahoo.

probably go through different ports. you'd have to know exactly how each message client works to port it to another version. tried 'mercury' for chat? search for it on versiontracker.com
