I just recently bought an G5 iMac and went to repair the hard disk on my old G3 ibook, and had to reformat the Hard Drive. I thought this would be real easy to fix. I used "Drive Genius" to do the dirty work, it repaired the drive and created a new partition. The problem is when I went to use my install disks I got with my new iMAC on my iBook it will not boot to the CD. So I have the Flashing ? File folder thing. I do not have a boot disk for the iBook. Is there a reason the new Tiger disk will not work with the iBook? Seems silly that it wouldn't. What can I do?
