Does anyone know what I can do to correct this
prob?

When you choose sleep from the menu, or when you close the lid? My TiBook takes longer if I do it with the lid than if I do it manually.

And you said this *only* happens since installing 10.2, as in it was fine before?

It's fine when I boot into 9.2.2 or when I boot into
9.2.2/10.2 off my firewire drive.
It's only 10.2 that's on my ibook that gives me this
problem.
