iBook Resolution question

Hi,
I have a iBook 600 with the 12 and a bit inch xga screen, and it really bugs me how the maximum resolution is only 1024x768. Can this be increased by using 3rd party display drivers or any other software methods?
Summary: I have a similar question, but for my powerbook. It's at least a bit easier to gain access to. In regards to the original poster... I agree that gaining access to the guts of an iBook is a nightmare....
