I want to connect an oldish ibook G3 to an 11g wireless
network; can't find an old airport card to fit. Any
suggestions?

There are plenty of old airport cards on ebay but they can be
expensive - although sometimes you can find a cheap one.

You can buy a usb wifi stick (11g) but these normally require
USB 2.0 to work.

Have a scout on ebay for either - you may strike lucky!

buy the original Apple Airport card (expensive) and free
yourself of an amazing amount of hassle.

want hassle? get the D-Link DWL-G122 USB dodah and fight
the software every time you sleep or start up your iBook.

The software is some version meant for some other card.
can't remember. Got it off D-Link's site.
